Like many of you, I’m playing catch up after the Holidays. I’ve been delving deeper into the world of nutrition and the competing claims of the diet camps. Frankly, I don’t want a diet. I want a plan of nutrition that won’t leave me hungry, irritable, or with strange spots on my body. There are some simple guidelines that I believe everyone should follow and the rest of it should be determined by metabolism, culture, and lifestyle.
I am also fine tuning my exercise regime. Much of it is corrective with regard to my movement patterns and rehabilitative to take care of my aches and pains. I want to make sure I can move elegantly whether I’m squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, rotating, or striding. Fancy machines and exercise gurus can make our fitness choices as confusing as those we confront with our nutrition.
As always, email me with any questions.
